Biography
Melanie Kebble specializes in fine art paintings in the Impressionist and Expressionist styles. Her paintings range from artworks in oil and all forms of water media to encaustic and pastel. Her spontaneous style emanates from personal passion, which projects energy into her works. With her colors, she expresses joy; with her brushwork movement and style, she reveals her response to her surroundings, inspiring her imagination and fueling her desire to paint.
Kebble often collaborates with interior designers and architects to create artworks for their projects. She specializes in designing significant works for public areas of office buildings, hotels and condominium developments. Due to commissions, her artworks present several genres.
She is primarily self-taught and has supplemented her private studies with courses offered by master painters. She has attended national and international workshops for over twenty years.
Artist Statement
"My paintings are inspired by music and poetry, traveling, and the wonders of nature. I respond to the feelings I am experiencing as I observe my surroundings, and the sources of my imagination innovate my creative brushstrokes.
My brushwork is spontaneous to project movement, and my colors are designed to radiate the interplay between color and light. For the viewers of my paintings, I attempt to create vividness and luminosity designed to be uplifting to your spirits."
